First Things First... Run!

So Junior started out a little funky. In the last couple of weeks, Dewey, my bestest neighbor, allowed me to use his garage as a temporary storage spot. Mainly because, you can't see, but the windshield is REALLY clear... Or non-existent it would seem. :)

So our goal at first was to see if he would run, and then move... We rebuilt the edlebrock carb, replaced the fuel pump, pumped him up with gas and vroom vroom... Jr was alive! Sounding rough, but alive...

We went to put in gear and nothing... WHAT?? Not a big tranny guy, we decided to hold off until my regular mechanic could look at it... So we rested in our victory... For the night anyway...

The next day, we got to thinking... Jr hasn't moved in at least three years. I got an idea! Let's check the fluid! Can anyone guess what we found? That's right... We filled the tranny up with some type F, fired him up, put it in gear and... We went for a ride... Victory was truly ours!!!
